Parliament awaits the “Cabinet of Ministers” law

The Legal Committee clarified that the Council of Ministers Law is one of the important laws that regulates the work of the government and will have priority within the committee if it is received from the Council of Ministers. Member of the House of Representatives, Sajjad Salem, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: The Council of Ministers Law has not reached the House of Representatives by the current government until now, even though in the previous parliamentary session the previous government sent the draft law to the House of Representatives and it was withdrawn, and in the current parliamentary session it did not send it. The government until now. In turn, a member of the Legal Committee, Muhammad Jassim Al-Khafaji, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that the Council of Ministers law has not reached Parliament yet, and it is a law related to the government and is supposed to be approved in the Council of Ministers in order to be returned to Parliament, confirming the existence of laws A task initiated by the Council, but this regulatory law concerns the government’s affairs and must be responded to by it because it regulates the work of the Prime Minister, and at any time it reaches Parliament it will have priority and is considered one of the important and urgent laws that Parliament must proceed with approving.
