Forum on economic and banking Baghdad Friday, amid calls twinning
private banks with Arabic and international dishes, while the Federation
of private banks that the Forum called on the Iraqi Government to
support the private sector to keep up with the economic development in
the country.
And Union of private banks against Badri speech,
today, on the occasion of the Forum and attended by the Sumerian "news",
"banking laws need to be modified to cope with the Iraqi banks in the
world", and "twinning the banks with global banks and Arabic to economic
and banking sector development in the country."
Badri demanded the Iraqi Government to support the private sector to keep pace with economic development in Iraq. "
The
Banking Act No. 94 of 2004, advanced laws in the world, but it has many
comments about it from those covered by the law, because of the lack of
clarity of some materials and circumstances raised, with a number of
banks need to modify it to keep pace with developments in global banks.
Despite
the spread of Iraq's civil and banks that have reached more than 30
banks, these banks did not play a central role in the economic
development process in Iraq because of a small addition to the deviation
of governmental institutions to deal with it because some banks
stalling in its work.
