    The Minister of Oil Jabbar Ali Hussein Allaibi on Monday that Iraq is in favor of supporting the oil market in order to ensure the interests of the economies of producing countries policy, while stressing the need to prevent another fall in prices during the next phase.
    He said Jabbar Ali Hussein Allaibi in a statement received (range Press), a copy of which, "The current economic phase requires all oil-producing countries within OPEC coordination organization and compatibility with each other," stressing the need for "consensus in OPEC and outside on the productivity to raise the price of a barrel of oil formulas during the next phase to ensure that the interests of the economies of producing countries and to prevent another fall in prices. "

    The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) expressed, on Thursday (8 September 2016), in support of Iraq to freeze oil production for a limited period in order to raise crude prices, as revealed communicated Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) ceiling of expected production if the members agree on it , it confirmed its intention to continue to increase its annual production in the short term, at a rate of 100 to 150 thousand barrels per day.
    The Oil Ministry, has stressed in (the seventh of September 2016), that Iraq's production in the event of the Organization of the members of the agreement (OPEC) to freeze production, it will be four million and 757 thousand barrels.
    The observers expect major oil producers in the world agreement during their meeting in Algeria during September now, the joint action could lead to the identification or freeze production at certain limits, to support crude prices.
