[rtl]NATO seeks a long-term alliance with Iraq using Jordan[/rtl]
[rtl]BAGHDAD / Habib Marwan.[/rtl]
[rtl]NATO announced through deputy secretary general, "Alexander Vershbow," the alliance's intention to increase submitted to Iraq's military support within the military configuration and training programs, and in the framework of the agreements that the two parties control.[/rtl]
[rtl]Vershbow declared against the backdrop of Iraq signed a security agreement with NATO, earlier this year, ensure that the NATO training Iraqi officers, and involve them in special programs to fight terrorism, in order to be the nucleus of trainers responsible for the Iraqi security forces.[/rtl]
[rtl]NATO, for its part, uses Jordan and specifically the King "Abdullah II" base for the special task, to train Iraqi forces, at a time when hopes NATO will have to assess long-Halfa-term by introducing packages to assist and support the largest of Iraq, starting in the next 2017, as Vershbow said.[/rtl]
