Newly released Clinton emails cast doubt on Democrat’s sworn testimony

Hillary Clinton might have perjured herself when she answered interrogatories from conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch filed in a federal court just last week, according to newly released documents.
Earlier this year, a federal district court judge required the Democratic presidential nominee to answer a series of questions from Judicial Watch as part of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. Because those answers were written under oath, the individual behind them is subject to perjury charges if the claims are false.
One of the interrogatories asked if there was “any communications between [Clinton] and [top IT specialist] Bryan Pagliano concerning or relating to the management . . . of any emails in your clintonemail.com email account” during Clinton’s time at the State Department, where she conducted government business from a personal email server.
In response, the former secretary of state’s legal team wrote, “Secretary Clinton states that she does not recall having communications with Bryan Pagliano concerning or relating to the management . . . of any e-mails in her clintonemail.com email account.”
However, documents released Wednesday seem to show Clinton had direct contact with Pagliano when she encountered technical problems with the email system on her Blackberry phone, which was connected to her email server, according to prior records.
Judicial Watch found several exchanges between Clinton and Pagliano. Here is one of those emails:
    From: H
    Sent: Sunday, March 18, 2012 8:45 AM
To: Justin Cooper, Bryan Pagliano [Cooper was a senior advisor to Bill Clinton]
Cc: Oscar Floras [manager of Clinton’s New York home]
    Subject: Help!
Once again, I’m having BB trouble. I am not receiving emails although people are getting ones I send but I get their replies on my IP. I’ve taken out the battery and done what I know to do but with no luck yet any ideas?
“These new emails leave little doubt that Hillary Clinton was less than forthright and misled the public when she wrote, under oath, that she ‘couldn’t recall’ communicating with Bryan Pagliano about her email scheme,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a press release on the matter. “No wonder Clinton and her agents deleted these emails time and time again.”
“These smoking gun emails would never have seen the light of day but for Judicial Watch’s federal lawsuits,” he added.
