    Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk Provincial Council called to hold an investigation over assassinating the head of the Arab Group within Kirkuk PC, Abdullah Sami.
    A statement by Kirkuk PC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Sami was a great figure in the province in spite of all the challenges where we assure that the criminals behind his assassination will not target the unity of the citizens of Kirkuk and their attempts will be foiled as the previous ones.”
    Kirkuk PC called “The security forces to hold an investigation over assassinating Sami to reveal the sides behind it and refer them to the judiciary.”

    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Islamic Party condemned assassinating the head of the Arab Group within Kirkuk PC, Abdullah Sami.[/ltr]
    [ltr]In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, the IIP stated “Kirkuk is known of being the province of brotherhood and the peaceful coexistence is facing a criminal attack aims at eliminating the national figures and create the partition among its constituents.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“The repetition of the assassination attempts without achieving a solution increases the concerns over the decline of the security situation in the province,” the statement added, calling “The wise men in the province to unite and face the enemies of Iraq.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“The government and the security forces are requested to adhere to all the means and reveal the sides behind assassinating Sami to ensure the stability and safety in Iraq,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
