Legal expert Ali Al-Tamimi confirmed that the UN Charter requires the Security Council to place the Israeli entity under Chapter VII.
Al-Tamimi told /Al-Maalouma/ that "targeting Lebanon and killing Hezbollah leaders violates international humanitarian law, noting that killing civilians violates the rules of war stipulated in the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and The Hague Conventions of 1807, which prohibited targeting private property during armed conflicts, with conventional or cyber weapons."
He pointed out that it violates the UN Charter according to Articles 1, 2 and 18, which requires the Security Council to place the entity under Chapter VII according to Articles 39 to 51 thereof.
He accused the Security Council of colluding with the Zionist entity by supporting the American veto. End 25N
