Popular Mobilization Forces: Political and military card
    8:42 PM ADMIN
Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Daily media reports inside Iraq and abroad are concentrating on the role of

the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in the future of the country.

It is well known that the PMF is supported by the religious hierarchy, Shiite parties and Iran, as an experienced military force that got the governmental and legal legitimacy in Iraq, with ideas how to deal with it in a post-Da'ish (ISIS) era.

All non-Shiite components are talking on how to "contain" the new power of the PMF, which is financed by governmental establishments, Iran, religious circles and popular donations.

On the other hand, each organization within the PMF has its patron, which permitted a state of "conspiratorial wickedness", not sectarian divisions.

The Iraqi government can absorb the Shiite PMF, but will have difficulties to absorb some Sunni parts to equate the military balance.

The PMF has become a political card, more than military, which stirred anxiety in the region, that wanted the downfall of the Iraq State, not the Iraqi Government, observers believe.

The division of Iraq is the "only" card to contain the power of the PMF in a limited area, which will be followed by other moves to contain other formations for the Sunnis and the Kurds.

These matters became "very complicated" to "conspiracy countries" in the region, because they were unable to contain the new pro-Iranian force, politically and militarily.

Observers believe that the PMF will remain the effective car in the Iraqi and regional political scene.
