ANKARA - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday called on Iraqi Kurds to take down the Kurdish flag in Kirkuk, warning that "refraining from doing so would harm their relations with Turkey."
"We do not agree at all with the claim that Kirkuk is for the Kurds. Kirkuk is for Turkmen, Arabs and Kurds if they are there," Erdogan continued at a rally in the Black Sea region of Zonguldak. Do not start pretending to be yours or the price will be high. "They will damage the dialogue with Turkey," he said
