The Ministry of Communications revealed its intention to convert administrative systems in all state institutions to electronic, while opened the optical cable project next to Rusafa, which includes 189 thousand light line.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Hazem Mohammed Ali, in a special statement »Sabah»: that his ministry is working to develop the reality of administrative systems in ministries and government institutions in Baghdad and all the provinces and in all fields, by working to convert from paper to electronic. He noted that this step comes in order to shorten the time and effort, as well as ensuring the security aspect in the conduct of transactions of the citizens, articulating his ministry coordination with the Ministry of the Interior with a view to issuing passports to citizens wishing to do so, through a single window by connecting the competent departments network head of between Baghdad and the provinces, in addition to issue a unified card for citizens in specialized centers provide modern Ber.at in line with the policy of the single card project through the information network.
Ali added that his ministry has worked to create the technical side of the project e - ration card for the benefit of the ministries of trade and planning, in order to facilitate the process of citizens equipped vocabulary fair, as well as to detect phantom names that some weak may be baptized souls to be included without the right.
He noted that the application of e - government will also include scholarships certificates for citizens wishing to obtain their documents via a special site, which confirmed that he will be in coordination with the Ministry of Education, in addition to other ministries, institutions, bodies and departments in Baghdad and the provinces.
Meanwhile, the official spokesman announced Telecom, the opening of the optical cable project in the Rusafa side of the capital FTTH in coordination with specialized in the field of communications and information technology company IQ.
He said the allocation of 189 thousand light line within the project, of which five thousand line completely ready accomplished to work in the Rusafa areas, returned the project a qualitative leap, scientific and promising in the work of his ministry, which pointed out that it will achieve its goal of introducing the latest communications technology in the world to the homes of citizens.
It is said that the project itself was opened next to Karkh during the month of February.
