Reuters confirmed, today, Wednesday, that Iraq achieved a record number in fuel oil exports in 2024.
The agency stated in a report published on Iraq's fuel oil exports that "shipments reached their highest levels this year and achieved record numbers in 2024, and are on their way to breaking the 18 million metric tons barrier - about 380 thousand barrels per day."
She added, "The increase in fuel exports will support oil revenues, as they exceeded 2.15 million tons in October, the highest monthly rate ever. The report confirmed that production at the Karbala refinery, which has a capacity of 140,000 barrels per day, also boosted these exports." End/25
