The Ministry of Oil announces the resumption of work in the production line of the North Gas Company after the completion of maintenance work

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Izzat Saber , announced today, Tuesday (November 19, 2024), the resumption of work on the production line of the North Gas Company after the completion of maintenance work.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Oil, received by "Baghdad Today", Saber stressed the ministry's keenness to develop work in the gas sector and continue production operations, to provide governmental and private sectors with their need for products, in implementation of the government's directives, and the directives of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani.
The agent said, "North Gas Company has completed the scheduled maintenance work on one of its production lines, which began on October 25."
He pointed out that "work was resumed on production line 1000 after reducing the specified period for the maintenance process, as the specified time for maintenance was one month, and thanks to the efforts of the engineering and technical staff in the company, and the daily follow-up of the work, the maintenance work was completed within 21 days, and production operations were gradually resumed to provide the concerned authorities, citizens and power generation stations with their needs of dry gas and liquefied gas (LPG)."
Saber praised the efforts of the engineering and technical staff working in the company, who completed the maintenance work before the scheduled time, through continuous communication around the clock.
It is noteworthy that the North Gas Company began operating production line "1000" on Sunday, November 17.
