Decisions of the Council of Ministers in Tuesday's session
Baghdad - Iraq Press - April 26: The Council of Ministers held its regular session headed by Haider Abadi.
According to a statement by the Office of Abadi media, during the meeting was briefed the Council of Ministers on the conduct of the battle for the liberation of Nineveh right side in addition to a report on the numbers of displaced persons and the measures taken to provide services to them.
The Council of Ministers also discussed the Turkish air strike, where the Council of Ministers condemned the Turkish air attack on Iraqi territory in the Sinjar area, which caused the deaths of Iraqi victims. This constitutes a serious violation of Iraqi sovereignty, which is contrary to the provisions of international law and the principles of good neighborliness.
The Iraqi government warns Turkey against repeating this unjustified excess, which could lead to escalating steps that affect the efforts of Iraq and the international community in the war against terrorism.
The first amendment to the amnesty law was voted on.
The Council of Ministers decided to approve the establishment of 287 degrees of employment by the Ministry of Finance to ensure the excellence of the contractors in the production, transport and distribution sectors affiliated to the Ministry of Electricity for their outstanding contribution to the return of electricity to Nineveh province. Provided that the criteria for differentiation are met.
It was also agreed to allocate an amount for the purpose of completing the steel silo project in Shatrah from the contingency reserve allocations and to be attached to the Karbala steel silo.
And discussed the treatment of the subject of the property of the General Company for Central Markets and benefit from them and has taken guidance in this regard.
A government committee was formed to assess the real need for electricity in the various government departments and mechanisms to stop waste.
And approved to secure the liquidity to support hospitals in the city of medicine and Basra Specialist Hospital for children and treatment of cancer.
The Council adopted a decision to implement the Social Protection Act No. 11 of 2014 in the liberated governorates.
They also discussed facilitating the procedures for lending industrial, agricultural and residential projects and presenting the report of the Ministry of Oil to extinguish the oil wells. Finished
