    The Ministerial Council for National Security discussed on Sunday the provision of the issuance of the unified national card and passports for citizens, stressing the need to preserve the lives of civilians and security forces in Mosul .
    "The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abbadi, presided over a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security today, " Abadi's office said in a statement. "The Council discussed the course of the battle to liberate the right side of Mosul and its developments, And the continuation of the liberation of cities . "
    "The Council reaffirmed the preservation of the lives of our troops and civilians in Mosul," he said, adding that "the provision of all the requirements for the issuance of the unified national ID and passports to citizens has been discussed ."
    "The Security Council has taken a decision to equip the Ministry of Interior with the necessary equipment to complete its work in the fullest possible manner," the office said, adding that "the security situation in the country and a number of topics on the agenda were discussed.

    BAGHDAD, Iraq - May 8: The Ministerial Security Council discusses the issuance of a unified card and passports to citizens.
    "The cabinet meeting discussed the provision of all the requirements for the issuance of the unified national card and passports for citizens," a statement of the prime minister said, adding that "the Council has taken a decision to equip the Ministry of Interior with the necessary equipment to complete its work to the fullest."
    He added that "the Council discussed the conduct of the battle to liberate the right side of Mosul and its developments, and provide our heroine forces and the continuation of the liberation of cities, and during the meeting to reaffirm the preservation of the lives of our troops and civilians, as well as discuss the security situation in the country and a number of topics on the agenda, Directives and previous resolutions ".
