Copper rises boosted hopes for growth in China

Copper rose after the highest level in a week record in the previous session amid demand from investors by shrinking stocks and with the Chinese authorities move towards the easing of monetary policy, boosting hopes of growth.
China's central bank pumped new money by facilitating the medium-term lending on Friday, while maintaining the emphasis the arbitrator in the short-term financing.
Chinese banks made net new loans in the local currency of $ 1.1 trillion yuan ($ 159 billion) in April, more than the expectations of analysts.
Copper closed contracts for three months, the London Stock Exchange high 0.3 percent, to $ 5559 per ton after gaining 0.8 percent in foreign trade.
Among other metals aluminum contracts were closed for three months, the London Stock Exchange 0.9 percent higher to $ 1891 per tonne, while nickel rose 0.1 percent to $ 9320 per ton.
Zinc fell 1.4 percent to $ 2554 per tonne and lead down 2.3 percent to $ 2126 a tonne after touched earlier in the lowest level since April April 21 at $ 2116. The tin closed down 0.1 percent to 19 thousand and $ 825 per ton.
