    Copper and zinc prices rallied on Thursday, with speculators buying industrial bunkers to take advantage of recent losses, while sentiment was boosted by hopes of steady economic growth in China's biggest metal consumer.
    Standard copper contracts on the London Metal Exchange ended the session up 1.3 percent at $ 6,522 a tonne. The red metal has fallen about 7 percent since hitting a peak of $ 6970 on Sept. 5.
    Zinc contracts closed 1.4 percent higher at 3147 dl / d, supported by lower stock levels.
    Among other metals, nickel futures rose 2 percent to close at 10,440 dollars per ton, while aluminum contracts fell 0.1 percent to $ 2131 a tonne.
    Lead contracts rose 0.3 percent to $ 2,470 a tonne, while tin contracts fell 0.5 percent to $ 20,600 a tonne
