    the Ministry of Planning intends to implement a new survey of poverty rates across the provinces in cooperation with the World Bank, while preparing in coordination with UNESCO to carry out another survey to see indicators of maternal and child health, among the goals of sustainable development.
    The head of the Central Bureau of Statistics in the ministry, Zia Awad Karim a special statement made by «morning»: The ministry will be implemented soon in cooperation with the World Bank, a new survey to see poverty rates in the country, noting that he will be through random sampling to determine the income and spending for families rate covered.
    He added that the survey results will benefit racemic Five - Year Plan for the years policy (2017 to 2022), the survey expected to reveal a new rise in poverty due to security and economic conditions experienced by the country.
    The Ministry of Planning has announced that in 2013 the decline of poverty rates to around 18 percent, but the occupation of gangs «Daesh» terrorist for some areas and the decline in oil prices globally, lifted to 22 percent after June 2014.
    Regarding your maternal and child health survey, Karim said that his ministry recently signed with UNICEF, an agreement to implement the sixth cluster survey indicators to provide his tour for maternal and child health, in terms of nutrition and physical situation and the risks to women during pregnancy and childbirth, as well as knowledge of the living conditions for them.
    He added that his ministry had approved a comprehensive plan for its implementation through the preparation of its questionnaire, as well as to review the questionnaires for maternal and child, and equipped with computers and tablet devices needed by researchers, noting that his ministry will be used for the first time tablet devices for its implementation.
    He said the President of the Central Bureau of Statistics ( NBS ) that his ministry aims of the survey, to provide data that serve the sustainable development of the year 2030, noting that the country is among the most prominent countries of the Arab region and the Middle East committed to the implementation of the survey since the launch of the first round in 1995.
    The most likely implementation of the survey in the coming days, and will include All the provinces of the country, except for areas where the security situation is still the uneasy, expected to launch its own results in March of next year.
