Independent MP Mansour Al-Baiji called on the government to take quick steps to limit the high exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, stressing that it created an economic crisis and harmed a very large segment of the people, increased the poverty rate in the country and burdened the citizen in a very large way that cannot be tolerated. .
Independent MP Mansour Al-Baiji said in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the government must take a position and take quick steps to limit this rise, as well as monitor the exchange rates of the dollar and the markets that are witnessing a very large increase in prices for foodstuffs and medicines because it is unreasonable." That this matter continues without a solution, because the matter is going to unimaginable consequences if the concerned authorities do not take the appropriate steps for this crisis."
Al-Baiji added that the rise in oil prices in global markets should reflect positively on the economy of the country, which witnessed a significant deterioration during the previous period due to the Corona pandemic and the decision to raise the exchange rate of the dollar. Ended 29/Kh87
