British Defense Minister: Da'ash faces the end of the game in Mosul

    Release Date: 2017/6/29

British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon has said he is facing "the end of the game" in the city of Mosul after he occupied the city in June 2014.
Fallon said that "the Royal Air Force hit more than 700 targets in support of the military operation carried out by the Iraqi forces to liberate Mosul."
The British defense minister also said that Da'ash is losing land in his stronghold in the Syrian city of Raqqa.
Fallon's speech came ahead of a meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which is expected to confirm the sending of 85 additional British troops to Afghanistan on training missions, where there are already 500 British troops in Afghanistan.
Over the past few months, the US-led international coalition has intensified its air strikes against Dahesh. In this context, the Royal Air Force has been operating at its highest level in 25 years.
British forces have also hit 69 targets in support of the Kurdish Democratic Forces Alliance in Raqqa, where there is "undeniable momentum and progress," Fallon said.
Britain is also launching cyber attacks against a populist.
