Parliament is moving to the ratification of the protection of Iranian investments in Iraq Agreement
According to a parliamentary source, on Friday, that the parliament is moving to the ratification of the mutual encouragement and protection of investments between Iraq and Iran agreement.
Said the source, who preferred not to be named, for "economy News", "Parliament is heading for approval of the mutual encouragement and protection of investments between Iraq and Iran agreement in order to benefit from the economic and investment resources."
He added that "the Iraqi government signed the agreement with Iran and are being studied by the Committee of the parliamentary economy," adding that "the agreement aims to promote economic and investment cooperation with Iran."
The Council of Ministers, voted Tuesday on May 2, 2015 the ratification of the draft Convention on the mutual encouragement and protection of investments between Iraq and Iran law.
