Chihod: Maliki's visit to Moscow laid the foundations of the strong relationship between the two countries

A member of the National Alliance MP Mohammad Saadoun Chihod that the visit of Vice President Nuri al-Maliki to the Russian capital (Moscow) laid the foundations of the strong relationship between the two countries in the security, military and economic.
"The relationship between Baghdad and Moscow is a historical one that goes on for many years. Russia is a country keen on the security of Iraq and the entire region as an influential element in the Arab arena, especially after the growing regional and international axes that are trying to drag the region," he said in a press release.
