He added that this phenomenon is not new and this was reflected negatively by the exposure of trains to damage the result of collisions with vehicles trying to cross through these irregular crossings, pointing out that the trains as they pass the usual route of some children threw stones, causing damage to the train This is repeated on a daily basis as a result of the lack of awareness among citizens of the importance of this means in securing the transfer of citizens and that causing any harm in it will cause the delay of passengers and disabling them from their destinations which they intend to travel to.
Kazem said the company had addressed local governments and security forces to lift the railways violations, but showed little cooperation or response in this area. He said the incidents would continue unless full cooperation between the railways and local governments was made to lift abuses and minimize such incidents.
He added that recently a collision of one of the trains to the province of Basra, a large mechanism tried to cross the other side of the irregular crossing south of Baghdad in the Dora area, adding that the train was damaged and led to disabling, which led the operating department to send another train to transport passengers from the scene of the incident To the province of Basra.
He pointed out that the company will open an investigation into the incident, which has the first right to prosecute the perpetrators of such incidents consume the resources of the country and disruption of services provided to citizens.
