The inauguration ceremony of the new commander of Iran's new army begins in Tehran

The ceremony was attended by senior army commander General Abdul Rahim Mousavi in the presence of senior commanders of the armed forces at the army headquarters.
The ceremony was attended by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqari, Assistant Commander of the Revolution Major General Yahya Safavi, former Commander of the Army, Assistant Chief of Staff General Attaullah Salehi, Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, Assistant Commander of the headquarters of the Seal of Prophets, Major General Hosni Saadi, General of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Mohammad Shirazi, Commander of the Air Force Brig. Gen. Hassan Shah Safi, Commander of the Army's Ground Forces Brigadier General Keumarth Haidari, Commander of the Air Combat Force Brigadier Farzad Ismaili and Commander of the Army Navy Admiral Habib He has two other military commanders.
The commander of the revolution and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a ruling last week appointing General Mousavi, commander-in-chief of the Iranian army, while former commander General Salehi was appointed as an assistant to the chief of staff of the armed forces.
It is noteworthy that during his service in the army, Major General Mousavi took over the leadership of the Imam Ali University students' brigade to prepare the officers, the university leadership, the commander of the army headquarters in northeastern Iran, the assistant commander of the army ground force in training affairs, the assistant commander of the army's ground force in planning and programming, The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, the Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Army, the Head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Army and the Assistant Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
Major General Mousavi keeps a record of his presence on the southern and western fronts of the country during the eight-year war (waged by the former Iraqi regime against Iran in the 1980s) throughout the war.
