    [rtl]The legal expert Ali al-Tamimi criticized the social insurance law that the government intends to put forward. He pointed out that it came as an imposition of the International Monetary Fund, pointing to increasing the rate of deduction of salaries of employees to 9%.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]" The draft law on social insurance is still in the corridors of the government and waiting to be sent to parliament to read it and ratify it, " Tamimi said in a statement followed by "Trend Press" , noting that "it consists of 143 articles and came in application of Article 30 of the Iraqi Constitution, Social welfare of women, children, the elderly and the unemployed ".[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He added that "within the provisions of this law is the formation of a national insurance and is deducted 9% of the salaries of employees who receive a salary of more than 280 thousand instead of the 7% in force," pointing out that "the purpose of this law, according to government opinion is to reduce the differentiation between segments the society".[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He added that "this law was created because of pressure from the International Monetary Fund and the increase in the rate of deduction of salaries of employees will harm many people with limited income and these deductions violate Article 30, which provided that the state to provide money and not resort to the cuts."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Education announced its refusal to prejudice the rights of university professors, while the formation of a specialized committee to address the relevant authorities on the abolition of deductions of salaries of university professors provided for in the draft law.[/rtl]
