[ltr]The United Nations agreed on Friday to set up a group of eminent experts to study all human rights violations committed in the Yemen war and identify those responsible.[/ltr]
[ltr]The UN Human Rights Council adopted this resolution by consensus by voting, with the consent of the Yemeni delegation, at the last minute of a dialogue between the two groups of Western countries and the Arab states.[/ltr]
[ltr]"A credible international investigation is necessary to identify the facts and circumstances surrounding the violations, comprehensively, transparently, independently and impartially, to end the cycle of impunity in Yemen," said the Dutch delegate on behalf of the Western Group.
