    [rtl]India's oil and gas minister, Darmendra Pradhan, said his country is asking OPEC countries to cut oil prices to consumers in Asia and their counterparts in the West.[/rtl]
    [rtl]"I think OPEC countries should take our request into account," the Indian minister said on Saturday.[/rtl]
    [rtl]According to the minister, OPEC Secretary General Mohamed Barkindo was asked during a meeting in the Indian capital, explaining that India needs price stability and a reasonable direction to benefit consumers.[/rtl]
    [rtl]According to the OPEC report last September, demand for oil increased in India in 2017 to 4.65 million barrels per day, 3.5% more than in 2016. This represents about 35% of the demand of developing countries in Asia and about 14% Of the demand of all developing countries.[/rtl]
