    Shafaq News / Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation said on Sunday, that it will issue a detailed report on the unemployment rate in Iraq based on surveys conducted by its teams.
     
    “The ministry and through surveys conducted in all provinces will release a report at the end of this year on the proportions of unemployment and compare it with declared unemployment rates for 2012,” the ministry spokesman, Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi told “Shafaq News”.

    Hindawi added that “within the five - year plan from 2013-2017 , we aim to reach unemployment rate to lowest than 6 % , as unemployment rate was 11% last year and we will be able to reduce unemployment to 6% in a period of five years”.

    The unemployment rate in Iraq in 2004 has reduced from 35% down to 18 % until 2008 , while stabilized at 15 % in 2010 and reduce according to the Ministry of Planning surveys to 11% in 2012.
