    Follow-up / Sky Press:

Saudi Arabia has made "huge" financial rewards of between $ 5 million and $ 30 million for anyone leading 40 suspects and members of the al-Houthi group who are wanted for "terrorism" in Yemen.

The Kingdom has announced a first list of 40 names of leaders and elements responsible for planning, implementing and supporting various "terrorist activities" in the Houthi group.

A statement by Saudi Arabia's official SPA news agency said the leader of the al-Houthi group, Abdulmalek Badr al-Din al-Houthi, had been given $ 30 million in return for extradition or information leading to his arrest.

It also allocated $ 20 million to hand over Saleh Ali al-Asad, the head of what the Houthis call the "Supreme Political Council."

Saudi Arabia said in a statement that it "calls on those who have this information to communicate with the competent authorities in the Kingdom through the mechanisms of safe communication described, which are designed to keep the confidentiality of the information provided and the identity of their sponsors, and can not be disclosed."

The statement added that this comes "based on the system of combating and financing terrorism crimes and the statement of the Ministry of Interior on the first list of parties, groups and terrorist currents, and includes the Houthi group."

Saudi Arabia also provided $ 20 million for information on Zakaria al-Shami (the minister of transport in the unrecognized government of Houthi), Abdullah Yahya Abu al-Hakim (head of military intelligence and military commander), Abdul Khaleq al-Houthi (brother of the group leader and military commander) (The defense minister in the government of Houthi and Saleh) and Yusuf al-Madani (military commander).

They also identified a similar amount for information about the chiefs of the Huthi-controlled intelligence services: Abdul Qader al-Shami (head of the Political Security Service-Internal Intelligence), Abdul Rabah Saleh Jarfan (head of the National Security Service - Foreign Intelligence), Yahya Muhammad al-Shami Houthi).

The list included the brother of the Huthi leader, Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi (minister of education in their government) and Hassan Mohammed Zaid (minister of youth and sports), who has been allocated $ 10 million for information about each.

The reward was reduced to $ 5 million for a number of Houthi political leaders and a number of ministers, headed by Ahmed Mohammed Hamid (Minister of Information in the Houthi government), Talal Aqlan (Minister of Civil Service) and Ahmed Abdullah Obstacles (Minister of Justice).

The list was stripped of any figures loyal to the ousted president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, a Houthi ally in the fight against legitimacy and the alliance.

Saudi Arabia has been leading an Arab alliance in Yemen against the Huthis since March 26, 2015. "In response to the request of Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to intervene militarily to protect Yemen and its people from the aggression of the Huthi militias and the forces loyal to the former president, "He said.
