    [ltr]Follow up of Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]The Canadian reconnaissance plane CP-140 Aurora will complete its mission in Iraq as part of the international coalition forces against "Da'ash" within a month and return to the country in December 2017.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The aircraft has been carrying out its mission for more than three years in support of the coalition forces in Iraq and has carried out 850 sorties so far," it said, adding that it had contributed significantly and directly to a provocative defeat by providing reconnaissance and surveillance information.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Canadian Defense Ministry noted that after the return of the reconnaissance aircraft, Canada's contribution to the coalition forces would be represented by an Airbus СС-150 Polaris tanker, two CC-130J Hercules military transport aircraft, four CH-146 Griffon helicopters and a group of trainers composed of elements And the Canadian field hospital in northern Iraq (will continue to operate at least until 30 April 2018).[/ltr]
[ltr]Canada joined the international alliance against Daqash in 2014. On February 18, 2016, and with a decision from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the bombing of Canadian warplanes ceased to positions in Damascus and Iraq. All six F-18 fighters returned to the country, while the CP-140 Aurora and Airbus СС-150 Polaris remained at the Canadian air base in Kuwait to assist Allied forces.[/ltr]
[ltr]In addition, Canada increased the number of military trainers in Iraq from 69 to 230 to train Kurdish militias in northern Iraq.[/ltr]
[ltr]In June this year, the Government of Canada extended the work of the military mission in Iraq until March 31, 2019. It ended 29 March[/ltr]
