More than a billion dollars to complete health projects for next year

Ministry of Health has allocated an amount exceeding one billion dollars within the investment plan for the next year to implement the projects.

An official source at the ministry's (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network) that the ministry will be allocated within the investment plan for the budget next year an amount exceeding one billion dollars for the implementation of health projects across the country, pointing out a plan for the construction and rehabilitation and expansion of centers and health clinics, hospitals and the addition of new units to it and building apartments for the accommodation of doctors and health institutions equipped with medical equipment and building sectors of primary health care and refrigerated stores Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies.

He stressed that the projects will be established according to the latest designs and processing technologies of advanced medical devices and services, furniture, pointing to the removal of obstacles to the implementation of some projects, especially overtaking on the pieces of land allocated for its implementation, noting that the department has prepared plans and modern designs for the implementation of engineering for health projects within the plans and programs of the ministry for the advancement of the health sector.

The source pointed to the existence of 493 health projects being implemented within the investment plan for the current year, including 63 hospitals and 44 centers specialty and 152 health centers and a number of other projects, as well as a project for the rehabilitation and expansion of 102 health institution, stressing that the department has completed 97 health projects since the beginning of the current year established with funding the investment budget and the amounts of regional development and campaigns ages, indicating that the project included the rehabilitation and expansion of 18 hospitals and the establishment and rehabilitation of five centers specialized and three sectors of primary health care and 28 health centers, as well as the rehabilitation and expansion of 10 other centers and building 8 role of housing and rehabilitation of 12 health institution again.

He explained that the ministry has completed 13 projects within the campaigns to revive the marshes included establishment of five centers for primary health care in the province of Dhi Qar, and the role of housing complexes in Maysan, pointing out that the ministry had been completed within the campaigns themselves 29 projects in order to promote the health services provided in those areas, noting to the continuation of the ministry in overseeing the implementation of the project of establishing a ten teaching hospitals 400-bed capacity carried out by international companies in the provinces of Baghdad, Diyala, Diwaniya and Basra, Maysan, Karbala, Babil, Dhi Qar, all with advanced centers for the treatment of cancer diseases.
