Oil announces new pipeline for oil exports from Baiji to Vishkhabur
| Economy News _ Baghdad The oil ministry announced on Sunday the establishment of a new pipeline for oil exports from Baiji to Vishkhabur, noting that the pipeline will be a substitute for an old pipe damaged by the "Dahesh." The ministry spokesman Asim Jihad said in a statement received by "Economy News" a copy of it, "Oil Minister Jabbar Ali al-Allaibi has instructed the companies and departments concerned in the ministry to prepare papers for the new oil pipeline, which is implemented according to the investment formula BOT, for the section of the pipeline, To Vishkhabor, which transfers crude from the fields of Kirkuk to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, "noting that" will be invited specialized companies for this purpose in the near future. " Jihad added that "the section of the old strategic pipeline of the distance mentioned has been affected greatly by the repeated targeting of the pipe and abuses caused by the sabotage operations of terrorist gangs," adding that "this impedes the rehabilitation and return to service again."
