The parliamentary legal committee announced on Thursday that the government will inform the concerned departments of the preparations for the upcoming elections and the preparation of all the requirements, pointing out that the date of the elections requires a parliamentary vote.
Committee member Ibtisam al-Hilali said in a statement to Al-Mawloma that the federal government informed the concerned departments and authorities through official books and correspondence to prepare for the elections and to prepare all the requirements for that.
Hilali said that "the negotiations and meetings are continuing between the political blocs and deputies in order to resolve the subject of the election law," indicating at the same time that "the new date for the elections (May 12) needs to vote the House of Representatives."
Hilali, a deputy of the coalition of state law, said that "the parties to the National Alliance all support the holding of parliamentary elections on schedule." Ending / 25
