(Baghdad: al-Furat News) MP from the parliamentary bloc of wisdom, in the province of Salim Shawqi, there is deliberate disregard by the federal government to ignore the rights of Basra.
"There is unjustified and deliberate disregard by the federal government on the rights of Basra province in the 2018 budget, despite the vote on the latest amendment to the amended Law 21 of the provinces, which confirms that each barrel of oil producer 5 dollars to maintain."
He added: "We sent our observations to the federal government without an answer, and when we contacted non-decision-makers asked us to challenge the budget through the Federal Court," noting that "we seek to have an agreement with Prime Minister Haider Abadi and the Ministry of Finance to include petrodollar and border crossings in the budget."
He pointed out that "the province of Basra needs clear attention from the federal government," recalling that "14 trillion dinars, the government debt to the province was supposed to be paid in the form of bonds, but did not abide by it."
