    Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Thursday the intention of Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri to draft an "emergency law" to postpone the parliamentary elections scheduled for next May.
    The newspaper quoted in a report seen by (information), political sources said, "Jubouri may put on Thursday draft" emergency law, "which proposes to prolong the life of the Iraqi parliament and the government six months.
     The sources expected that "the Federal Court object to the constitutionality of this law, considering that the Iraqi constitution sets the mandate of parliament four years, and there is no reference to the possibility of extension."
    The newspaper pointed out that "the Sunni political forces collected 180 parliamentary signatures to make the vote secret during a meeting scheduled to be held tomorrow to discuss the fixation or postponement of elections, in addition to the adoption of the election law, it is supposed to include on the business session paragraph calling for the postponement six Months because of the lack of completion of the return of displaced persons from Sunni areas to their areas, and the lack of those areas to the ingredients of life.
    The parliamentary legal committee revealed on Wednesday that the Union of Forces submitted a new proposal to postpone the elections for six months, noting that the proposal includes the return of displaced people to their areas and the completion of the biometric project on the elections and update the voter register. Ending / 25
