    World Bank Chief of Staff Yara Salem announced that the World Bank is ready to work with the Iraqi government to implement the 2018-2022 poverty strategy through technical and material support.

    Minister of Planning Salman Jumaili on Sunday launched a five-year poverty reduction strategy of 22 percent.
    Al-Jumaili said in a conference to launch the poverty reduction strategy 2018-2022 and attended by "Economic News", "The liberation of Iraq from the organization of the urging made the Ministry of Planning to solve the problems facing the economy and development," adding that "the poverty rate is currently 22% Land in 2014 ".
    He pointed out that "confronting poverty and addressing it requires arming accurate data and achieve economic development through the activation of other sectors."
