Washington stresses the importance of providing funding to Iraq to prevent the return of Dahesh

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Tuesday that "maintaining stability is very important after defeating a supporter."
"It is necessary to provide funding to Iraq to prevent a return and we appreciate the efforts of the coalition countries in supporting the stabilization and reconstruction efforts in Iraq," he said in a speech at the ministerial meeting of the International Coalition against Da'ash.
"We must not allow a resurgent return and maintain stability that is very important after a daunting campaign," Tillerson said. "The international coalition's efforts must be strengthened to combat daunting steps in recruitment and training."
