The special assistant to Iran's parliament speaker for international affairs, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, spoke of conditions Saudi Arabia has set for Iraq.
In a television interview on Iran's Fifth Channel, Abdullahi said the failure of Rohani's visit to Saudi Arabia "poses difficult conditions for accepting a spiritual visit. These conditions are set aside by Saudi Arabia to disarm Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon. And let the changes take place in Lebanon for the benefit of Saudi Arabia and its allies there. "
"One of the Saudi conditions was also related to the Iranian nuclear program and even Saud al-Faisal (former Saudi foreign minister) before his death, I met him and told me in a fraternal way and his speech was so important that why we negotiate with the Americans and Europeans about Iran's nuclear program, "We have to negotiate with us, we are in the region and you have to negotiate with us, so the political space needed for a spiritual visit was not provided. After the coming of the new hardline Saudi rulers, the visit became more difficult."
