The Russian Defense Ministry announced the implementation of a successful operation to remove 4979 fighters of the movement "Ahrar al-Sham" and members of their families from the town of Harasta in the eastern Gouta of Damascus and transferred all of them to the province of Idlib.
In a press statement, the director of the Damascus-based Harmim Center for Reconciliation of the Fighting Parties, Major General Sergey Yevtushenko, said that his soldiers carried out a "unique operation" for two days to remove Ahrar al-Sham and their families from Harasta The onion in the eastern Ghouta.
