Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Tuesday denied the presence of any Turkish troops inside Iraqi territory.
"There are no Turkish troops inside Iraq, and all this talk about this issue is not true," Abadi told the weekly conference.
"We have intelligence to benefit from the international coalition and we have aircraft, so there is no mobilization of Turkish troops near the Iraqi border."
"We have followed the issue of Turkish shelling targeting the border areas of the Kurdistan region, which is not new, and continued since the time of the former regime, which is taking place in rugged areas of border."
