    RAFAL fighters are preparing at the military base of Saint-Dizier in northeastern France, awaiting a political decision to strike targets in Syria, French media said. 
    The French newspaper Le Figaro said French military commanders had presented President Emmanuel Macaron with military plans that could be adopted to strike Syria if the political decision was taken. 
    The newspaper noted that "military commanders are considering the possibility of a strike or strikes against the forces of President Bashar al-Assad," adding that detailed plans were presented to President Macron.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Experts and experts suggested that if the political decision was taken and the green light was given to carry out strikes in Syria, the decision would be announced from the French air base in Saint-Dizier.
