The State Department announced Tuesday that Iraq will receive the end of the year 2018, a new meal fighter jets in accordance with a contract between the Ministry of Defense and South Korea.
"The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Korea, Haidar Shi'a Al-Barrak, visited the headquarters of the Korean Aircraft Manufacturing Company, to follow up the company's implementation of the contract with Iraq," said a statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry.
The statement added that "the ambassador briefed on the plant assembly line of Iraqi fighter aircraft of a model, which will be shipped part of it to the port of Basra"
He pointed out that "Iraq received six aircraft in two installments and is expected to surrender six more aircraft at the end of 2018"
The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced on March 7 that it had received the second batch of South Korean T50 fighter jets in a contract to purchase 24 fighter jets.

The State Department announced Tuesday that Iraq will receive the end of the year 2018, a new meal fighter jets in accordance with a contract between the Ministry of Defense and South Korea.
