    [ltr]In a meeting with US President Donald Trump's lawyer in March, private investigator Robert Muller raised the possibility of issuing a summons to Trump if he refused to talk to investigators about the probe into Russia, The Washington Post reported.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The newspaper said, quoting four people familiar with the interview, that Muller referred to the summons after Trump's lawyers said the president was not obliged to talk to federal investigators probing Russia's alleged intervention in the 2016 US presidential election.[/ltr]
    [ltr]On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump criticized the "flawed" probe into questions that Special Inspector Robert Mueller wants to address as part of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.[/ltr]
    [ltr]According to the New York Times, the questions posed by the president's lawyers address the detailed lines of Muller's investigation into whether Trump tried to block the investigation into Russia.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The more than 40 questions show that Mueller seeks to know what Trump knows about the links between his campaign members and Russia, including a meeting at the Trump Tower building with a Russian lawyer who offered information damaging to Trump's election victory.[/ltr]
