My mandate determines who will leave the Americans from eastern Syria
The adviser to Iran's supreme leader for international affairs Ali Akbar Velayati said that Syrian Kurdish tribes are fighting the United States, which will be expelled from the east of the Euphrates in northeastern Syria.
"The Syrian Kurdish tribes are fighting Washington and the Zionists and will bring them out of the east of the Euphrates," Velayati said during a meeting with representatives of Syrian tribal sheikhs in Tehran. "Tehran is confident that if the Americans do not mind and leave Syria, the Kurds will expel them."
He described his talks with the Kurdish delegation as "constructive" and considered that the visit of a delegation of the Syrian Kurds to Tehran is an overwhelming response to Washington's claims that the Kurds stand by its side east of Syria.
"There is no doubt that the secret of the victory of the Syrian people lies in the national unity prevailing among the different nationalities and sects in this country."
"Fortunately, different nationalities, including Arabs, Kurds and followers of different faiths and sects, are fighting side by side against the aggression of foreigners and that is why they have been victorious so far," Velayati said.
