Former Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa Al-Araji said today, Thursday, that American forces will leave Iraq without firing if an Iraqi diplomatic decision is issued.
Al-Araji said in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, “The Americans will leave Iraq without shooting if an Iraqi diplomatic decision is issued.”
He stressed that "Al-Sudani is the first prime minister to deal with the Americans "peer to peer," noting that "Al-Sudani spoke strongly with the American Secretary of State during his visit to Baghdad and warned him against the escalation of the crisis."
He continued, "The American Foreign Minister informed the Sudanese that America may sever relations if the bombing continues."
