    The Turkish ambassador in Iraq Fatih Yildiz said on Monday that his embassy will give merchants of the province of Wasit multiple visa to import Turkish goods, stressing that his country is interested in investing in the province within the sectors of transport, agriculture, industry, infrastructure and water resources.
    "The Republic of Turkey has solid trade relations with Iraq, as the volume of trade exchange in the past years has exceeded 12 billion dollars," Yildiz was quoted as saying by the official daily Al-Sabah, stressing that his country is seeking to "increase the volume of trade exchange with Iraq, In the finest Turkish universities within the mechanism to be agreed upon between the two sides. "
    The Turkish ambassador stressed Ankara's keenness to "strengthen cooperation and relations with Iraq in all fields and build a genuine partnership that serves the interests of the two countries to achieve security and stability of Iraq."
    Yildiz stressed that "Turkey had an active participation in the Kuwait conference, which was attended by the Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Economic Development, the Secretary General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers and the President of the Reconstruction Fund for the affected areas." He said that his country's pledges amounted to more than five billion dollars. Ending / 25
