(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Cabinet approved on Tuesday the proposal of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, on the location of the stadium, which gave Saudi Arabia to Iraq and ensured the establishment at its expense.
The Saudi gift came after the Ministry of Youth and Sports successfully held a friendly match between Iraq and Saudi Arabia on February 28 in the sports city of Basra, and was the first team to gather since 1979, and won the Iraqi team 4-1.
The stadium in Baghdad will have a capacity of 100,000 spectators and "like an integrated sports city"
