    Zainab Abdul-Saheb, Deputy General Manager for Technical Affairs at the General Telecommunications Company, said that the project of localization reflects a new stage in the development of the national economy .
    In a press statement received by "Al-Iktissad News", Abdul-Saheb said that "the General Company for Telecommunications organized a workshop on the project of settling the salaries of its employees in Baghdad and the provinces, in which the representative of the Central Bank and a number of employees of the company participated. In order to choose the appropriate bank to settle salaries out of sixteen participating banks . "
    She stressed that "this workshop is a continuation of previous workshops organized by theMinistry of Communications, which responded to the instructions issued by the Council ofMinisters stresses the need to replace paper - based payment transactions as anelectronic system employee can choose the bank that they want."
    Abdul-Saheb praised "the efforts of the workers in the implementation of this system, especially the Central Committee formed for this purpose ."
    She pointed to the need to "harness all possibilities and overcome obstacles to reach positive results ."
