    [rtl]The correspondent of "Trend Press" from Baghdad, on Saturday, that there are strict measures by the Electoral Commission for elections to secure and prevent violations and forgery. "[/rtl]


    [rtl]"The current legislative elections are taking place amid international and domestic monitoring to prevent fraud," the reporter said.[/rtl]


    [rtl]He added that "the Commission has intensified its measures to prevent electoral fraud," noting that "there is coordination between the Commission and Baghdad operations to secure polling stations."[/rtl]


    [rtl]The Independent High Electoral Commission announced earlier that about 11 million people have updated their electoral records, accounting for about 56 percent of the total electorate of 24 million voters.[/rtl]


    [rtl]In the elections, 320 political parties, coalitions and electoral lists will be contested, with 7,737 candidates, the first after the defeat of the terrorist "Da'ash" organization, and a new government is expected to be formed within 90 days after the election results are announced.[/rtl]
