    [rtl]South Korea welcomed the North Korea's declared denuclearization program. "[/rtl]


    [rtl]SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's presidential office said on Sunday that Seoul welcomed North Korea's declared nuclear disarmament plan ahead of the historic summit meeting between the United States and North Korea.[/rtl]


    [rtl]"This proves their willingness (North Korea) to fulfill the pledge they made at the summit of the two Koreas by deeds, not by words," said Kim Eui-Kyum, spokesman for the Blue House in a press release.[/rtl]


    [rtl]North Korea's official media reported on Saturday that Pyongyang had decided to remove its nuclear testing site from May 23 to 25 in fulfillment of its pledge to halt nuclear tests.[/rtl]
