India and the European Union have submitted to the World Trade Organization lists of high-tariff US products in response to US President Donald Trump's tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum.
The EU told the WTO that the cost of Trump's steel tariffs could be $ 1.5 billion and that the cost of aluminum charges would be $ 100 million. The EU has provided a list of US products that it may target with retaliatory customs duties.
India said it faced additional US fees of $ 134 million for steel and $ 31 million for aluminum, and also provided a list of US exports for potential retaliatory targeting. Ending / 25
